Incline Star Follies 2013,
Incline’s educational fundraiser, once again took center stage this past
weekend at the Cal Neva. Thank you Cal Neva for letting us use your
venue.
This event really demonstrates how it
takes a village to raise our children and put on a show. There are so
many individuals that need to be thanked for their endless hours of
dedication to make this event possible, and a wonderful experience for
all to enjoy.
The key players are:
Ron Stichter, the producer, who along with his other many responsibilities this year produced the program.
Don Hertel, the director,
migrates every year from San Diego to work with each act. He brings his
expertise and his talented crew of three with him to setup the stage and
help with music.
Kathie Goldberg, the assistant
director, who casts the show with others, and coordinates all the
rehearsals to name just a few of her tasks. Everyone in this production
knows Star Follies would be lost without Kathie.
Karen Osborne, newcomer Lily
Baran and talented Kayla Goldberg, a senior at Incline High School, our
three choreographers, worked with students and adult members to perfect
individual numbers.
Next, the three school administrators,
various staff members and students from all three schools gave up many
hours of their own time to attend rehearsals and be a part of this show.
Also a big thank you goes to all the
following volunteers who helped rehearsal and show nights: hair and
makeup artists, seamstress, shirt/DVD sales, light/sound crew, ushers,
backstage attendants, photographers and will-call sales. Potlatch —
thank you for always letting us use your store to sell tickets
beforehand.
Of course, Star Follies would not go on stage without the generous support of our Sponsors:
Show Sponsor: Wells Fargo Bank
Show Host: Cal Neva
Media Sponsors: North Lake Tahoe Bonanza
And more sponsors: Linda and Richard

Finally, any production would not be
complete without a big thank you to YOU, the audience, who come to
support those on stage and also support the future of education in our
village. You are the best. Thank you again.
